Information from Bill Watkinson- Thinks the man standing directly behind the pile of wood to the right of picture may be his grandfather William Overend. Information from M Taylor - the man tenth from the left on the back row (standing out quite prominently, looking at the camera and wearing a sweat towel) is Mr Taylor's father Denis Taylor. He worked at Sheffield Forge all his life from the age of 14 until he retired in 1973, and for many years was a roller, evetually retiring as a foreman. He died in 1991. |
